Gracie Abrams just gave us album number three. Daughter From Hell landed today, following up 2024’s The Secret Of Us, and it’s got 16 tracks including the two we already knew — “Hit the Wall” and “Look at My Life.”

For this one, Abrams brought back Aaron Dessner, her collaborator from The Secret Of Us, and added Dan Nigro to the mix — the producer who’s become something of a secret weapon for her close friend Olivia Rodrigo.

The real story here might be the title track. Abrams has spent years fielding “nepo baby” questions thanks to her mother’s entertainment industry career and her father, director J.J. Abrams. So instead of another song processing that baggage, she wrote her mom a tribute. She told CBS she joked with her mother about it taking 26 years to write something that wasn’t dripping in teenage frustration, adding that she’s now hoping to grow into the kind of woman her mom is.
