Jonas Brothers Are Bringing "Burning Up" Back — And This Time, They're Not Stopping at New York

Three sold-out nights at Madison Square Garden were supposed to be the whole plan. Then the demand got loud enough that Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas tore up the script.

On August 17, the Jonas Brothers confirmed what fans had been buzzing about for days: The Burning Up Tour All Over Again is going nationwide. What started as a trio of anniversary shows honoring their breakout 2008 run has ballooned into a 45-city trek across the United States and Canada, kicking off at MSG on August 20 and not letting up until December 21 in Newark, New Jersey.

“We can’t wait to bring The Burning Up Tour All Over Again across North America,” the band wrote in their announcement. “It’s a celebration of the songs, the memories, and everything that made the burning up era so special, ALL OVER AGAIN.” They added a shoutout to the openers joining them for the ride — Magnus Ferrell, Franklin Jonas, All Time Low, and Deleasa — calling them “friends and family” before signing off with a simple, heartfelt “we love you guys, see you there.”

The timing isn’t an accident. This announcement lands just days after the Jonas Brothers were inducted as Disney Legends at D23, one of the Walt Disney Company’s most prestigious honors, and on the heels of Camp Rock 3 hitting Disney+, which saw the trio step back into their old roles as Connect 3. For a band whose entire career was launched through the Disney Channel machine, being crowned a “Legend” by the same company feels less like a corporate photo-op and more like a full-circle moment.

It also explains why “Burning Up” specifically is the era getting the victory lap. The original Burning Up Tour ran from July 2008 to March 2009, built around their third studio album, A Little Bit Longer, and the soundtrack to the first Camp Rock film. For millennial and older Gen Z fans, that tour is practically a time capsule — friendship bracelets, purity rings, and a fandom so intense it helped define an entire era of teen pop.

What’s striking about the 2026 revival is the scale. This isn’t a nostalgia-lap through five arenas — it’s a genuine full-country tour that touches nearly every major market, from Boston and Toronto to Dallas, Los Angeles, and Seattle, before wrapping in the New York metro area where it all began. Select shows will also feature a rotating cast of support acts, with All Time Low set to headline a very special appearance at the Hollywood Bowl.

Ticketing follows a now-familiar rollout: a Spotify Reserved presale opens August 18 for eligible Premium subscribers in the US, followed by the general artist presale on Wednesday, August 19 at 10 a.m. local time, and public onsale on Friday, August 21 at 10 a.m. local time. VIP packages will also be available, including access to a pre-show “Burnin’ Up VIP Lounge” and exclusive merchandise.

For a band that just wrapped its 20th-anniversary JONAS20: Living the Dream Tour in 2025, doubling back for a second massive run within twelve months says something about where the Jonas Brothers are right now — not coasting on legacy, but actively feeding an appetite that clearly hasn’t slowed down. Between the Disney Legends honor, the Camp Rock revival, and now a tour that could rival their biggest outings, 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most eventful years of their career.
