About Ice Spice

Isis Naija Gaston, born on January 1, 2000, is a rapper hailing from the Bronx, New York City, better known by her stage name, Ice Spice.

Her journey into the world of rap began in 2021, drawing inspiration from artists like Saweetie and Cardi B. Ice Spice's music features bold and confident lyrics, set to the backdrop of drill and hip-hop-influenced sounds, which are skillfully produced by her in-house producer, Riot.

In August 2022, she achieved internet virality with her energetic drill track "Munch (Feelin' U)," amassing an impressive 2.2 million views on YouTube within two weeks. The song caught the attention of none other than Drake, who co-signed her work.

Building on her newfound success, Ice Spice released another major single titled "In Ha Mood," which debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at #85 on February 14, 2023. Her string of successful singles led to a lucrative $2 million deal with 10K Projects. She subsequently dropped her debut EP, "Like…?," on January 20, 2023.

May of 2023 brought yet another exciting collaboration for Ice Spice, this time with pop sensation Taylor Swift, for the remix of "Karma." Taylor reached out to Ice Spice after learning about her admiration for her work, and they joined forces for this remarkable venture.

On June 23rd, 2023, Ice Spice and Nicki Minaj reunited for another collaborative effort, "Barbie World," featured on the soundtrack of the movie "Barbie The Album." Not long after, on July 21st, she released a deluxe version of her debut EP, including four new tracks and the remix of "Princess Diana."
