Katy Perry is bringing her biggest tour to the big screen. Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live From Paris opens in cinemas and IMAX venues across 70 countries on Wednesday, September 2, for a limited theatrical run, with tickets going on sale this Thursday, July 30.
The concert film was shot across two sold-out nights at Paris’s Accor Arena on November 4 and 5, 2025, with director Paul Dugdale running a 60-camera setup to capture the show from angles no arena seat could offer. The final cut packs in 25 songs spanning Perry’s catalog, including “Firework,” “Roar,” “California Gurls,” “Teenage Dream,” and “I Kissed a Girl.” The film premiered at the Tribeca Festival back in June, where Perry appeared for a live Q&A and spoke about her relationship with former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, whom she met partway through the tour.
The Lifetimes Tour itself wrapped in December after a 91-show, 23-country run that stretched across five continents between April 2025 and December 2025 — Perry’s first major tour in seven years. It sold just over 1.05 million tickets and grossed $134 million, making it the second-biggest tour of her career behind only the Prismatic World Tour. The trek was built around her album 143, which peaked at No. 6 on the national albums chart, and along the way it also raised meaningful money for charity: more than $264,000 for Perry’s Firework Foundation in the U.S., and roughly £82,000 for the U.K.’s Music Venue Trust, which supports small venues and emerging artists.
Distributor Trafalgar Releasing is handling the rollout, with screenings set for roughly 150 theaters in the U.K. alone, alongside venues across the U.S., Ireland, Italy, Brazil, Mexico, Germany, France, and Australia. Producer Daniel E. Catullo III called the film “Katy’s love letter to her fans,” noting that more than a million people saw the tour live and that the theatrical release gives millions more the chance to experience it. The film goes beyond a standard concert recording, too — behind-the-scenes footage and aerial shots are woven throughout, designed to put audiences inside moments that were impossible to fully witness from the arena floor, from Perry’s aerial stunts to the crowd’s reaction in real time.
With tickets opening tomorrow and screenings limited to a short window, this is shaping up to be one of the year’s most anticipated concert-film events — a fitting capstone for a tour that already ranks among the biggest of Perry’s career.
